My name is Matt Krein and I am proud to own and operate the Milwaukie School of Guitar / Milwaukie School of Music.
As a music teacher for nearly 20 years, it's been my honor to help hundreds of students of all ages embrace the joy of playing music.
Whether you want to be a "campfire" player strumming and singing your favorite songs, or you're an experienced player looking to take your playing to the next level, we can help. All our instructors are highly experienced, and many have achieved Bachelor's or Master's degrees in music and/or education. Despite our own rigorous backgrounds, we strive to make sure your lesson experience is low pressure, rewarding, and of course - fun!
We offer a free 30-minute trial session to all potential new students to make sure the Milwaukie School of Guitar is the right fit for them before committing to weekly lessons.

Private Lesson Rates:
$40.00 per weekly private 30 Minute Lesson (Average $160/month)
$70.00 per weekly pirvate 60 Minute Lesson (Average $240/month)
Joint Lessons (two adult students) $80/hour. Restrictions apply.
